No time is wasted. No event is without purpose. It's all for your good, whether it feels like that or not!
Here's exactly how to take steps to increase your personal power so you value every experience and begin to see moments in your life as the gifts they can be.
The "smile within technique" not only creates healing and joy, it makes you feel and look beautiful.
As an added bonus (as if we need one with those results!) you'll begin to attract new and positive situations right away.
If you'd like to listen to the audio version of this article...
If you don't know me yet, my name is Becca Starr and I'm the founder of The BITMOR Method.
The BITMOR Method helps you create extraordinary situations even when you have no idea what you want or what to do next.
You don't need a plan. You don't need to know what you want.
It's a method that starts to create and attract amazing situations, people, and ideas, so you begin to live the life of your dreams, whatever that means to you personally. You trust the process and see that it's all for your good. So that is our message today.
How do we know it's all for your good? We're going to get more into that and use a little technique that I like to call "the smile within".
Let me ask you, are you at a loss over what you should be doing and think sometimes you're just wasting your time or, worse - what I've heard from women - it feels like you're wasting your life away?
How are you spending your time? Is it meaningful to you? If it's not, how does that feel to you?
Let me clear something up for you right now...
There is never any time wasted ever. Even moments you might regret or wish you could have done differently - there is never a mistake.
This is a huge lesson I've personally learned and I can see it in other women's lives. It's a truth.
With The BITMOR Method, you do a little bit more and a little bit more and you start to realize your dreams, as a new reality, starts to take shape. You see you didn't need to do huge things. And all the things that seemed unrelated to your dream life, are actually helpful OR they don't matter that much.
Nothing has to be perfect. All you really have to do is a little bit more and a little bit more, and you'll get where you hope to go. Oftentimes, it's even better than you hoped for!
A lesson I've learned and seem to share with thousands of other women is that no matter what, like it or not, what's happened before now - anything in the past - it is all for your good.
I have studied and researched the most powerful women in the world and it's something that is very similar in each women's story.
Do you believe that? All of it.
I know. I know. Trust me, I'm going to share my personal story about this but it might be hard to wrap your head around that.
If you're thinking, "Yeah, but you don't know MY story," or "Yeah, but there's no way that was for my good." I get it. I know. I've had that thought before.
I understand, but I want you to stay with me because it's good. What do you have to lose if you trust the process and let it sink in a little bit more...
Try the intentional writing technique or the bonus exercise from the last podcast. I really encourage you to go back and listen to that because it will help you work through accepting things that have happened a lot quicker and easier than you might have imagined.
Gaining more awareness and healing will always help and I want that for you.
But for now, I want you to try something… It's more of a long-term exercise. So literally, in 5 or 10 years, you might be hitting me up saying, "Becca, I had no idea this is what you were talking about!"
That's what I mean when I say long-term. Either way, it will definitely make you realize everything was all for you - for you to be the most powerful, amazing woman that you can possibly be - even more than you ever imagined.
Here it is. Ready?
The best way to confirm that it's all been for you and for your best outcome is to take micro-actions towards what you really want.
The BITMOR Method has a very simple basic principle of micro-actions. By continuing to come back to the intention of what you truly want, what's meaningful to you, and taking new micro-actions, you begin to attract new situations, people, and ideas that help direct your next actions, and your next, and so forth.
I'm getting there so stay with me.
Now, what happens when you stay in the moment and take intentional actions in the direction or something greater, something that you love and can get caught up in what that is?
It has to be something meaningful to you, like the reason why you're doing it means so much that you are just willing to continue to take actions towards it.
What happens is that you begin to create new situations. You begin to have new experiences around that goal.
Some of these experiences might be really positive and excite you and astonish you, and some are really scary because you're stepping out of your comfort zone.
What happens is the process is going to move you somewhere. Somewhere. I can't tell you where. I don't know.
One rule of being alive is you will always be in motion. There will always be a change happening.
I know you've heard that saying before, "Change is inevitable." That's the truth. How fast things change, which direction the change happens, or what happens as a result of the changes is all to be determined. But the law of life is that change is going to happen.
So how does this connect to knowing that everything that's ever happened was always for your good?
If you're willing to accept all of it, it doesn't have to happen overnight and it didn't happen like that for me, but if you're willing to accept it on some level and take small actions forward, you will begin to see through the growth and how your life unfolds.
That there is something incredibly valuable to use from that experience, and it's actually what helps make you uniquely you.
There's always, always something to take away from it that will help you be better at what you specifically do, about who you are as your greatest self.
It's all of those experiences - good, bad, positive, time wasters, indifference - all of it.
Once you're willing to accept it all and take actions towards what you really want, you'll start to see how. I hate to say it, but even those negative, the worse negative things and I'm going to share some pretty crazy stuff, but it all makes you even better at what you do.
All of our pain has a purpose. I don't know why.
Personally, I'm a baby. I don't want pain. I'm very sensitive and I wish it could be different, but our pain has a purpose.
I'm going to share a teeny bit of my personal experience.
I didn't grow up in a happy home or in an ideal environment and if you've heard my story, you might think that that's a little understatement. Maybe you can relate or maybe it's so far from where you come from.
My dad was a drug addict. My mom seemed really angry that she got 'stuck with us'. She tried. She went to school full-time and worked full-time. We were on welfare, foodstamps. We lived in low-income housing.
Just imagine a mom who was angry and you're home a lot by yourself. You're in a tough neighborhood. It's everything you might think it could be. I felt like I had to protect my sister. It wasn't a very loving childhood.
I ended up becoming a runaway. I did not want to stay in that home. I was a high school dropout and basically just learned how to survive. I used my survival skills to get by.
When I look around now my beautiful home, our loving marriage, and my amazing babies, this was so far from anything I imagined.
I remember Matt and I getting married. I never dreamed of a wedding. Many girls do but I had no idea how to have a wedding! In a way, that was good. I definitely wasn't a bridezilla!
This whole life I have now has taken many years to create. It's the furthest thing from what I imagined at any point through most of my life.
There are so many things that I wished didn't happen. Thinking back to myself as a young girl, I was really angry and scared.
A lot has happened since then. I share different aspects of this because there are so many parts of it that can help other people, but what I need to tell you is that as I started - and have continued for many years - to stay true to myself and my greatest life, I can clearly see, whether I like it or not, everything had a huge impact on how amazing my life became and who I am and how I help people, how I can help other women and children - what I personally and uniquely can do for this world and for others.
Now you don't have to have a terrible experience. You don't have to live through crazy stuff, but unfortunately, many of us do. To what extent varies, but we all have that connection to pain and emotional trauma.
I know that so many of you can relate in your own way.
I am not sure why, but the pain does have a purpose. My question for you is, "What matters to you?"
What feels good to you? Think about that. Go there in your mind, envision it and become aware of how it feels.
That's going to help you start to take these inspired micro-actions.
My life began to change in my early 20s. I felt something inside of myself that I'm going to share with you that forever helped to change me and my life and what I attract.
What this simple thing was that had the biggest impact on healing and changing my experiences from that moment was to feel the smile within me.
It was something that I discovered in my core.
I felt the warm love and joy that was a small little seed at the time.
When you focus on that small seed of love and warmth, a seed that exists inside of all of us, it begins to grow with your attention.
Bring your attention to it and it starts to show on your face. The little seed is the smile within you. It expands as you focus on it and it makes you feel more beautiful.
It changes how you feel and as you stay aware of it and pay attention to it, spend time letting it expand, you begin to look different and feel different. You become beautiful, naturally.
It's empowerment at its best. It's healing and it's loving, and it will change your life.
Try it. Access the smile within. It's in your core.
Please, let me know how that goes. Let me know how your experience is, and I'd be really curious to find out as you have self-healing and more of that in your life... How you attract new experiences and how you begin to see how everything that's happened is actually part of a loving caring universe that completely does support you.
It gives you direction. It gives you guidance.
It's there for you and for your good no matter what, no matter where you've come from, no matter where you're starting from.
This is a truth that I know to be true and I am here just to remind you of it.
Have a beautiful day.
